Guanghua Qidi teaches the English national curriculum at IGCSE, AS and A Level, in English across all subjects. Students sit examinations with CAIE, Pearson Edexcel or Oxford International AQA. These qualifications are accepted for undergraduate admission in the United Kingdom, the United States, Hong Kong SAR, Singapore, Australia, Canada and elsewhere.
Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and English are required; students select three further subjects from the options list.

The school is a registered examination centre for the boards below and administers examinations on campus. Combinations that span more than one board are confirmed jointly by the student’s personal mentor and the relevant subject department, so that the specification matches the student’s university plans.

The Dianshan Lake campus offers the full IGCSE and A Level program. The Yangpu campus offers a selection of IGCSE and A Level subjects together with the art pathway, whose portfolio courses are delivered through the Guanghua Haoqi Art Center.
